Gianaris<\/a>&#8220;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;A former Democratic leader of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">state Senate<\/a> with ties to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.governor.ny.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gov. Andrew Cuomo<\/a> is aiding a primary campaign to oust <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/senators\/michael-gianaris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">state Sen.
