Bush&#8217;s<\/a> administration, but his choices of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Samuel_Alito\" target=\"_blank\">Sam Alito<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/John_G._Roberts\" target=\"_blank\">John Roberts<\/a> for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\" target=\"_blank\">SCOTUS<\/a> were dead on and will benefit us for generations to come.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Barack_Obama\" target=\"_blank\">Chairman Zero&#8217;s<\/a> nominations will <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2010-07-20\/u-s-supreme-court-nominee-kagan-is-approved-by-senate-judiciary-committee.html\" target=\"_blank\">haunt us for generations<\/a> to come:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;The <a href=\"http:\/\/judiciary.senate.gov\" target=\"_blank\">Senate Judiciary Committee<\/a> approved the nomination of Elena Kagan to the U.S. Supreme Court, clearing the way for President Barack Obama\u2019s second pick for the high court to be confirmed by early August &#8230; \u00a0Republicans also have raised concerns about memos she wrote as a law clerk to former <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thurgood_Marshall\" target=\"_blank\">Justice Thurgood Marshall<\/a>. In one 1987 memo, she urged Marshall to vote against hearing a Washington man\u2019s appeal in a gun control case.
