Polls show CD-19<\/a> is clearly in play<\/a>.\u00a0 Challenger Antonio Delgado<\/a> has been endorsed by Giffords<\/a> and although he has been taking care not to mention his position on 2A it did come up during the recent debate with Congressman John Faso<\/a>.<\/p>\n

From the Poughkeepsie Journal<\/a>:<\/p>\n

“… Delgado said he supports new gun-control measures and the Second Amendment<\/a>\u00a0rights of residents, “but like any other right, it has its limits.”\u00a0 Faso responded, “I support the 2nd\u00a0Amendment. Mr. Delgado is clear he does not.” …”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From the Times-Union<\/a>:<\/p>\n

“… Delgado argued that he could bring a valuable outside perspective to Washington, D.C., as someone who grew up middle class in Schenectady and went on to attend Harvard Law School<\/a> and become a Rhodes scholar<\/a>. His rejection of contributions from corporate interests, Delgado said, enables him to pursue policies on health care, education, gun control, and environmental issues that are reflective of the residents of the district …”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If gun control was a hot issue in the district he could talk it up in public.\u00a0 Delgado isn’t doing that because he knows it would hurt him.\u00a0 Faso, meanwhile, was using his pork loin win at Kalicoontie Rod & Gun<\/a> in Facebook ads<\/a>.<\/p>\n
