{"id":17766,"date":"2018-10-13T20:09:20","date_gmt":"2018-10-14T00:09:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=17766"},"modified":"2018-10-13T20:09:20","modified_gmt":"2018-10-14T00:09:20","slug":"meet-the-candidates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=17766","title":{"rendered":"Meet the Candidates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I helped organize a Meet the Candidates event for the local town association.\u00a0 The Republican candidates didn&#8217;t show up, but two of the three Democrats did including incumbent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.didibarrett.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Assemblywoman Didi Barrett<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"..\/images\/didibarrett101318.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"..\/images\/didibarrett101318.jpg\" alt=\"Assemblywoman Didi Barrett\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And Senate candidate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aarongladd.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aaron Gladd<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"..\/images\/aarongladd101318.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"..\/images\/aarongladd101318.jpg\" alt=\"Senate candidate Aaaron Gladd\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Gladd briefly touched on guns. He basically reiterated his public positions, that he supports universal background checks.
