It cost him upwards of $20 million to do it compared to her $500,000 and she still scored roughly 37% of the vote.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kathyhochul.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kathy Hochul<\/a> defeated <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JumaaneWilliams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jumaane Williams<\/a> after grossly outspending him and still only received about 53%.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TishJames\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Letitia James<\/a> received the Democrat nomination for Attorney General with about 40% in a 4-way race.<\/p>\n<p>While not unexpected, none of this good for gun owners especially James&#8217; win as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/news\/politics\/ny-pol-tish-james-nra-20180712-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">she said she would use the office to investigate the NRA<\/a>.\u00a0 As for the Governor, the Daily Beast sums it up, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/andrew-cuomo-is-americas-problem-now\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andrew Cuomo Is America\u2019s Problem Now.<\/a>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Independent_Democratic_Conference\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Independence Democrat Conference<\/a> is dead with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesunion.com\/news\/article\/Former-IDC-senators-fight-to-retain-Democratic-13227848.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">6 of 8 losing their primaries<\/a> including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lohud.com\/story\/news\/politics\/elections\/2018\/09\/14\/alessandra-biaggi-defeats-jeff-klein-state-senate-race\/1296703002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ringleader Jeff Klein<\/a>.\u00a0 Good.\u00a0 Fuck them.\u00a0 This does mean, however, that there will be a <a href=\"https:\/\/newyorksenatedems.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unified Democrat conference<\/a> next session even if <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/senators\/simcha-felder\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Simcha Felder<\/a> continues to do whatever he pleases.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latfor.state.ny.us\/maps\/2012a\/AD_map_rep_106.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AD-106<\/a> challenger <a href=\"https:\/\/www.poughkeepsiejournal.com\/story\/news\/politics\/elections\/2018\/09\/13\/106th-assembly-district-truitt-barrett-independence-primary\/1296524002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Will Truitt leads incumbent Didi Barrett by 3 votes<\/a> in the Independence Party primary.\u00a0 This is why I love primaries.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latfor.state.ny.us\/maps\/2012a\/AD_map_rep_133.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AD-133<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thelcn.com\/lcn01\/update-byrnes-defeats-incumbent-errigo-in-133rd-assembly-district-to-face-baer-in-november-20180914\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NRA endorsed incumbent Joe Errigo lost the GOP primary<\/a>.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thelcn.com\/lcn01\/candidate-qampa-byrnes-would-focus-on-school-safety-infrastructure-and-business-climate-20180912\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marjorie Byrnes also supports gun rights<\/a> so it doesn&#8217;t matter.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sheriffpaulvanblarcum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ulster Co.
