<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tom4ny.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Republican 39th Senate District candidate Thomas Basile\u2019s<\/a> form was delivered to staff in Albany earlier this week, according to his campaign spokesman Robert Driscoll, who said Basile\u2019s opponent, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skoufisforny.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Democrat James Skoufis<\/a>, is \u201cso desperate to get voters to forget that New York\u2019s most corrupt politician bankrolled him for years, he\u2019ll take any occasion to smear Mr. Basile.\u201d But, Skoufis said Basile\u2019s submitting the form \u201cyesterday\u201d still made the filing 24 days late &#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Skoufis is right.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latfor.state.ny.us\/maps\/2012s\/SD_map_rep_39.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SD-39<\/a> is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailyfreeman.com\/general-news\/20180503\/hudson-valley-state-sen-bill-larkin-retiring-at-end-of-year\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an open seat<\/a> that now has a roughly 15K Democrat enrollment advantage.\u00a0 That the Republicans don&#8217;t have their stuff together at the point is not a good sign for them.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ssb_list_wrapper\"><li class=\"fb2\" style=\"width:135px\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/like.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gunpoliticsny.com%2F%3Fp%3D17362&amp;layout=button_count&amp;action=like&amp;show_faces=false&amp;share=true&amp;width=135&amp;height=21&amp;appId=307091639398582\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none;
