This is an expanded version of the idea behind <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2017\/s7133\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">S-7133A<\/a><\/strong> which <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=16680\">was Reported two weeks ago<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here is video of the Governor making this announcement:<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"525\" height=\"295\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/s_NO47rQTpk\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n<p>What is odd is <a href=\"..\/files\/Draft-Cuomo-Extreme-Risk-Bill.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">his drafting of a new bill<\/a> this late in the session.  I know he&#8217;s doing it now because he is worried about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenation.com\/article\/cynthia-nixon-governor\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cynthia Nixon&#8217;s campaign damaging his future Presidential aspirations<\/a>.  However, he could simply <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/cuomo-slams-gop-for-blocking-state-gun-legislation-1528227684\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">beat on the Republicans<\/a> to get them to bring up <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2017\/s7133\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">S-7133A<\/a><\/strong> which would allow him to claim victory.
