{"id":16365,"date":"2018-03-29T12:59:50","date_gmt":"2018-03-29T16:59:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=16365"},"modified":"2018-03-29T12:59:50","modified_gmt":"2018-03-29T16:59:50","slug":"right-way-and-wrong-way","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=16365","title":{"rendered":"Right way and wrong way"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As a follow-up to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=16353\">yesterday&#8217;s post<\/a>, there is a right way and a wrong way to respond to a political hit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.poughkeepsiejournal.com\/story\/news\/2018\/03\/28\/donkey-image-used-shooting-target-riles-young-democrats\/466328002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This is the wrong way<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;&#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/DCyoungrepublicans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Young Republicans Chairman Marc Boissey<\/a> told the Journal in a statement on Wednesday that &#8220;the appearance of one of the targets I used resembling the Democratic emblem is unfortunate, but obviously I had no ill will towards our Democratic contemporaries &#8230; If anyone was offended by the donkey target, I obviously apologize&#8221; &#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Wimp.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/buffalonews.com\/2018\/03\/28\/local-teens-organize-forum-on-gun-violence-but-collins-wont-attend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This is the right way to respond<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Inspired by the teens from Parkland, Fla., Buffalo-area high schoolers are organizing a forum on gun violence on April 7, and they&#8217;ve already lined up <a href=\"http:\/\/higgins.house.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rep. Brian Higgins<\/a> and two other Democratic congressional candidates to attend. But <a href=\"http:\/\/chriscollins.house.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rep.
