George Latimer<\/a>, a Democrat and the Reform Party executive committee&#8217;s choice for county executive, accused Astorino of &#8220;using the Republican state party in an embarrassing attempt to steal this ballot line and do a hostile takeover of the Reform Party.&#8221; &#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Item #2, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/newyork.cbslocal.com\/2017\/09\/05\/westchester-gun-show-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Westchester County Executive Hopeful Takes Aim At Controversial Gun Show<\/a>&#8220;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;&#8230; \u201cTo own a gun is perfectly legal, but it\u2019s not something I think the county should be involved in helping to promote,\u201d State Sen. George Latimer (D) said.
