The Donald<\/a> has made the first big mistake of his presidency by demanding the House vote<\/a> on his health care bill.\u00a0 According to Business Insider<\/a>:<\/p>\n

“… “Guys, look. This is not a discussion. This is not a debate. You have no choice but to vote for this bill,” Bannon<\/a> reportedly said to members of the ultra-conservative House Freedom Caucus<\/a> …”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This was a really dumb move on his part.\u00a0 It was a rookie mistake he can recover from.<\/p>\n

The problem for 2A is that it comes at a bad time.\u00a0 Democrats want to block Neil Gorsuch’s nomination<\/a> and this gaff will embolden them.\u00a0 To get past the threat of a filibuster, Trump, Mitch McConnell<\/a> and the Senate Republicans<\/a> need to step down hard on Chuck Schumer<\/a>.\u00a0 There can be no comprise here.\u00a0 Any weakness on the part of Trump or McConnell and Schumer wins.<\/p>\n
