He voted for the SAFE Act.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Public Advocate<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Anyone not <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TishJames\" target=\"_blank\">Letitia James<\/a>, who has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/news\/national\/letitia-james-urges-banks-cut-ties-gun-manufacturer-article-1.2676605\" target=\"_blank\">a history of gun control advocacy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Comptroller<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Anyone not <a href=\"http:\/\/comptroller.nyc.gov\" target=\"_blank\">Scott Stringer<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/assembly.state.ny.us\/mem\/Dan-Quart\" target=\"_blank\">Assemblyman Dan Quart<\/a> would be a tiny improvement in so far as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dnainfo.com\/new-york\/20160610\/upper-east-side\/states-ban-on-folding-knives-criminalizes-hardworking-tradesmen-officials\" target=\"_blank\">he sponsored a knife-rights bill<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Bronx Borough President<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Anyone not <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/rubendiazjr\" target=\"_blank\">Ruben Diaz, Jr.<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Brooklyn District Attorney<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Challenger <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CouncilmanGentile\" target=\"_blank\">Vincent Gentile<\/a> has <a href=\"http:\/\/brooklyn.news12.com\/news\/newtown-massacre-ignites-debate-on-gun-legislation-1.4350115\" target=\"_blank\">a history of gun control activism<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>City Council District 9<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Incumbent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billperkins.org\" target=\"_blank\">Bill Perkins<\/a> won the seat in a special election earlier this year. He voted for the SAFE Act.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>City Council District 13 &#8211; open seat<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/assembly.state.ny.us\/mem\/Mark-Gjonaj\" target=\"_blank\">Assemblyman Mark Gjonaj<\/a> voted for the SAFE Act, but against a mandatory storage bill.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>City Council District 18 &#8211; open seat<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/senators\/ruben-diaz\" target=\"_blank\">Senator Ruben Diaz, Sr.<\/a> voted for the SAFE Act even though he admitted on the floor that it would have no impact on crime.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>City Council District 43<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nyassembly.gov\/mem\/Peter-J-Abbate-Jr\/\" target=\"_blank\">Assemblyman Peter Abatte<\/a> voted for the SAFE Act.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>City Council District 51<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Incumbent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.josephborelli.com\" target=\"_blank\">Joe Borelli<\/a> voted against the SAFE Act and has made 2A supportive statements in the past. Legitimately pro-gun.
