A.G."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I found a link to the Boston Globe with some more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/metro\/2016\/11\/29\/maura-healey-threatens-sue-donald-trump\/R6aiEfm3XcfN3TlwixSsEL\/story.html\" target=\"_blank\">antigun pushback from the Massachusetts A.G.<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;In a new fundraising appeal, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mass.gov\/ago\/\" target=\"_blank\">Attorney General Maura Healey<\/a> is promising to take <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDonaldTrump\" target=\"_blank\">President-elect Donald Trump<\/a> to court &#8230; She ticked off new issues that could be litigated, including health care, <strong>gun laws<\/strong>, climate change, and Wall Street reforms &#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I guess she could file suit challenging something like <a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2016\/12\/05\/gop-congressman-preps-national-concealed-carry-bill-for-next-congress\/\" target=\"_blank\">reciprocity<\/a> using material from the antis (see <a href=\"http:\/\/smartgunlaws.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/forced_reciprocity2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">#1<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/everytownresearch.org\/reports\/federally-mandated-concealed-carry-reciprocity\/\" target=\"_blank\">#2<\/a>), but how effective would this be?\u00a0 It is my understanding there were some states rights concerns pre-<a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.cornell.edu\/supct\/html\/07-290.ZS.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Heller<\/em><\/a> and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/McDonald_v._City_of_Chicago\" target=\"_blank\">McDonald<\/a><\/em>, but those have fallen by the wayside.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ssb_list_wrapper\"><li class=\"fb2\" style=\"width:135px\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/like.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gunpoliticsny.com%2F%3Fp%3D13777&amp;layout=button_count&amp;action=like&amp;show_faces=false&amp;share=true&amp;width=135&amp;height=21&amp;appId=307091639398582\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none;
