{"id":13676,"date":"2016-11-01T13:41:16","date_gmt":"2016-11-01T17:41:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=13676"},"modified":"2016-11-01T13:41:16","modified_gmt":"2016-11-01T17:41:16","slug":"congressional-rundown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=13676","title":{"rendered":"Congressional rundown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RRH elections has now posted <a href=\"http:\/\/rrhelections.com\/index.php\/2016\/11\/01\/rrh-elections-2016-general-election-preview-series-part-7-eastern-house-races\/\" target=\"_blank\">their analysis of New York&#8217;s Congressional races<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Some comments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latfor.state.ny.us\/maps\/2012c\/CD_map_rep_01.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">CD-1<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zeldinforcongress.com\" target=\"_blank\">Lee Zeldin<\/a> keeps his seat.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latfor.state.ny.us\/maps\/2012c\/CD_map_rep_02.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">CD-2<\/a>,<em>&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.peteking.com\" target=\"_blank\">Peter King<\/a> is a machine hack&#8221;<\/em> is the dead on accurate.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latfor.state.ny.us\/maps\/2012c\/CD_map_rep_03.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">CD-3<\/a>, Both candidates stink, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.martinsforcongress.com\" target=\"_blank\">Jack Martins<\/a> behavior, from voting for the SAFE Act to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timesledger.com\/stories\/2016\/39\/primaryoverturn_2016_09_23_q.html\" target=\"_blank\">screwing over Phil Pidot<\/a> in the primary, makes him worse.\u00a0 In the end I think <a href=\"http:\/\/www.suozziforcongress.com\" target=\"_blank\">Tom Suzzoi<\/a> wins the seat.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latfor.state.ny.us\/maps\/2012c\/CD_map_rep_18.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">CD-18<\/a>, I agree incumbent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seanmaloney.com\" target=\"_blank\">Sean Maloney<\/a> is the favorite to win re-election.\u00a0 The thing about him is I never heard anything good or bad about him.\u00a0 He&#8217;s just there, occasionally mentioned in the newspaper at having attending a meeting or something.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latfor.state.ny.us\/maps\/2012c\/CD_map_rep_19.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">CD-19<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zephyrteachoutforcongress.com\" target=\"_blank\">Zephyr Teachout<\/a> is batshit nuts, but is running a much better campaign than <a href=\"http:\/\/www.johnfaso.com\" target=\"_blank\">John Faso<\/a>.\u00a0 She wins.\u00a0 Democrat pick-up.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latfor.state.ny.us\/maps\/2012c\/CD_map_rep_22.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">CD-22<\/a>, Because it is a three-way race with independent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.babinecforcongress.com\" target=\"_blank\">Martin Babinec<\/a> sucking about about a quarter of the votes, I believe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.claudiaforcongress.com\" target=\"_blank\">Claudia Tenney<\/a> will get enough of a plurality of the votes to win the seat.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latfor.state.ny.us\/maps\/2012c\/CD_map_rep_25.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">CD-25<\/a>, Incumbent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.votelouise.com\" target=\"_blank\">Louise Slaughter<\/a> keeps her seat.\u00a0 I have heard absolutely nothing from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.markassiniforcongress.com\" target=\"_blank\">Mark Assini<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"ssb_list_wrapper\"><li class=\"fb2\" style=\"width:135px\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/like.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gunpoliticsny.com%2F%3Fp%3D13676&amp;layout=button_count&amp;action=like&amp;show_faces=false&amp;share=true&amp;width=135&amp;height=21&amp;appId=307091639398582\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none; overflow:hidden;  width:150px; height:21px;\" allowTransparency=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/li><li class=\"twtr\" style=\"width:90px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/share\" class=\"twitter-share-button\" data-url=\"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=13676\">&nbsp;<\/a><script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=\/^http:\/.test(d.location)?'http':'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=p+':\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js';fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document, 'script', 'twitter-wjs');<\/script><\/li><li class=\"gplus\" style=\"width:68px\"><div class=\"g-plusone\" data-size=\"medium\" data-href=\"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=13676\"><\/div><\/li><li class=\"ssb_linkedin\" style=\"width:64px\"><script src=\"\/\/platform.linkedin.com\/in.js\" type=\"text\/javascript\">lang: en_US<\/script><script type=\"IN\/Share\" data-url=\"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=13676\" data-counter=\"right\"><\/script><\/li><\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RRH elections has now posted their analysis of New York&#8217;s Congressional races.
