Andrew M. Cuomo<\/a> declined to pick a candidate in the hotly contested Senate 60th district race between <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smallforsenate.com\" target=\"_blank\">Democrat Amber Small<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chrisjacobsforsenate.com\" target=\"_blank\">Republican Chris Jacobs<\/a>. \u201cI have not had a conversation in that race,\u2019\u2019 Cuomo said when asked about an endorsement in the Senate 60th race. \u201cYeah, you know it\u2019s not as simple as saying \u2018Democrat, Republican.\u2019 You have to look at the person and you have to look at the person\u2019s positions on issues and you have to look at the person\u2019s background,\u2019\u2019 Cuomo said &#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/buffalonews.com\/2016\/10\/31\/gop-funds-jacobs-dems-give-small-nothing-senate-race\/\" target=\"_blank\">This week it&#8217;s this<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;In a signal of its resource priorities in the closing days before the Nov. 8 elections, the chief fund-raising apparatus for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorksenatedems.com\" target=\"_blank\">Democrats in the state Senate<\/a> has allocated zero dollars for Democrat Amber Small in her bid against Republican Chris Jacobs in the Senate 60th District contest in the Buffalo area.
