Gun legislation in the House<\/a> has been pushed back<\/a> until after the summer recess at the earliest:<\/p>\n

And hopefully bury the issue.<\/p>\n

“… Last week, Ryan faced dozens of GOP defections on a leadership-backed gun control measure … Conservatives argued that terrorist watchlists often wrongly include people and that the law would thus infringe on the Second Amendment. \u201cI think it\u2019s dead,\u201d conservative Rep. I’m inclined to agree.\u00a0 The answer to PSH<\/a> is time.\u00a0 Plus it puts us closer to the election day dumpster fire which will be front and center in everybody’s mind, not gun control.<\/p>\n

The only two Congressional races where challengers have tried to make it an issue are Anna Throne-Holst<\/a> in CD-1<\/a> and\u00a0Colleen Deacon <\/a><\/span>in CD-24<\/a> and it does not appear to be gaining much traction in either district.<\/p>\n
