Andrew Cuomo<\/a>.\u00a0 \u201cThere\u2019s a bunch of reasons: I come from a family where everybody hunts,\u201d Teachout said in an interview on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CapPressRoom\" target=\"_blank\">The Capitol Pressroom<\/a>. \u201cMy brother hunts. All my brothers in law hunts. My dad hunts. I\u2019ve always been around guns.\u201d\u00a0 She added that she remains supportive of background checks &#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Not a bunch of reasons, just one: It would not go over well in the district to come out in support of it.<\/p>\n<p><center><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Come on.
