Dick Nelson<\/a> is the outdoors writer for Hudson-Catskill newspapers.\u00a0 He is far and away the best outdoor writer in the state.\u00a0 In his latest column<\/a> he predicts that the Republicans will lose Dean Skelos’ old Senate seat in the special election, tentatively set for April 19.<\/p>\n

No candidates come forth as of yet, but the Nassau GOP<\/a> has some weapons-grade stupid on their side which lend credence to Dick’s prediction.<\/p>\n

    Dude, they’re part of the county committee which you<\/span> are chairman of.<\/li>\n

  2. New York’s next big corruption scandal<\/a>:

    “There was a stunning revelation in the corruption trial that convicted Dean Skelos … Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano<\/a>, planned to \u201cassert Fifth Amendment<\/a> privilege\u201d if called to testify about the AbTech contract … and the feds were \u201cnot prepared to immunize\u201d him …”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    This doesn’t look good.\n<\/li>\n

  3. Senate GOP blasts Kaminsky\u2019s statement on Dean Skelos\u2019 \u2018gall\u2019 to collect his pension<\/a>:
