The Heller<\/a> and McDonald<\/a> decisions were historic moments in the fight against gun control.\u00a0 The San Bernardo terror attack<\/a> is another.\u00a0 Not for the event itself, but because of the reaction by gun control proponents.\u00a0 Their behavior has been so bad that I believe people who have never before had an interest in the issue will look at supporters as the lunatic fringe much in the same way gun rights activists have been doing for years.<\/p>\n

The damage to the antigun movement comes not from Congress rejecting their agenda<\/a>.\u00a0 It does not come from the surge in new gun sales<\/a> either.\u00a0 Not even the unprecedented support by local sheriffs<\/a> for carrying guns for self defense.<\/p>\n

No, the damage to the gun control movement come from their own supporters, elected officials and media mouthpieces, who have gone so far out of their way not to acknowledge a blindly obvious attack by radical Islamists and blaming everything from gun control to global warming<\/a> to postpartum depression<\/a> that even a disinterested public can only come to one conclusion:<\/p>\n

These people are totally fucking nuts!<\/strong><\/center>The political fallout from this will be felt for years to come.<\/p>\n
