The Poughkeepsie Journal published my letter<\/a> in support of Dutchess Co. Legislator Gwen Johnson<\/a> in today’s paper, although they left off my title which was important:<\/p>\n

I am writing in support of Dutchess County Legislator Gwen Johnson. Back in April, she stood with us at a press conference outside City Hall to express her opposition to a proposed city ordinance prohibiting the keeping of firearms readily available for self-defense.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

On behalf of the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association<\/a>, I would like to thank her for having the courage to stand up to the outside special interests lobbying for such a law and encourage voters to support her in the Sept. 10 Democratic primary.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
