In the wake of the assassination of two NYPD officers<\/a> the NAACP<\/a> and Congressman Charlie Rangel <\/a>are trying to shift the discussion away from the killer’s very obvious revenge motivation to calling for more gun control:<\/p>\n

“… These two killings and the life-threatening injury, like so many other unfortunate incidences of gun violence, provide a stark example of the need for sensible gun control measures, and the need to thoughtfully address untreated mental illness …”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The internet does not approve of this crap, “\u2018Can go eff themselves’: NAACP \u2018morons\u2019 ripped for using NYPD killing to push gun control<\/a>.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“… \u201cThey should be conducting interviews mourning those that they lost and their family, talking about how do insane people get firearms and not criticizing but seeing how we can stop insane people from getting an opportunity to get firearms to kill anybody,\u201d Rangel<\/a> said on MSNBC\u2019s \u201cThe Rundown.\u201d<\/a>…”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The internet does not approve of this either, “\u2018Really remarkable\u2019: Charles Rangel schooled after insisting \u2018dead cops\u2019 chants never happened<\/a>.”<\/em><\/p>\n
