Danaher<\/em><\/a> basically states the plaintiff has &#8220;a liberty interest&#8221; in his wanting to carry a gun. \u00a0More at The Volokh Conspiracy, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/volokh.com\/2010\/03\/25\/second-circuit-due-process-victory-for-connecticut-carry-permit-holders\/\" target=\"_blank\">Second Circuit Due Process Victory for Connecticut Carry Permit Holders<\/a>&#8221; and Cato, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cato-at-liberty.org\/2010\/03\/26\/due-process-victory-for-concealed-carry-permit-holder\/\" target=\"_blank\">Due Process Victory for Concealed Carry Permit Holder.<\/a>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.yonkersny.gov\" target=\"_blank\">Yonkers City Council<\/a> supports <a href=\"http:\/\/polhudson.lohudblogs.com\/2010\/03\/25\/yonkers-city-council-supports-carrying-under-the-influence-law\/\" target=\"_blank\">a ban on carrying firearms while under the influence<\/a>. \u00a0In supporting this proposal, <a href=\"mailto:chuck.lesnick@YonkersNY.gov\">Council President Chuck Lesnick<\/a> channeled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4o29VoxtsFk\" target=\"_blank\">Spiderman<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;&#8230; \u201cSpiderman\u2019s creator <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stan_Lee\" target=\"_blank\">Stan Lee<\/a> penned the phrase, \u2018With great power comes great responsibility,\u2019\u201d said Lesnick in the press release. \u201cCarrying a firearm is an awesome responsibility and there can be no tolerance for anyone who does so while drunk.&#8221; &#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Apparently, though, there can be lots of tolerance for <a href=\"http:\/\/cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com\/2010\/03\/25\/assemblyman-is-acquitted-of-dwi\/\" target=\"_blank\">elected officials who drive while drunk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nyslec.org\" target=\"_blank\">New York State Law Enforcement Council<\/a> supports <a href=\"http:\/\/www.empirestatenews.net\/News\/20100326-2.html\" target=\"_blank\">microstamping<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;The New York State Law Enforcement Council (LEC) unveiled its legislative agenda for 2010.
