When the governor won election in 2010, he came to office with powerful prospects.\u00a0 But now he\u2019s apparently too weak to push through an education tax credit supported by majorities in both chambers of the state Legislature &#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Its Karma.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;&#8230; No doubt one big reason for Andrew\u2019s cave-in is that he fears his left flank: the radical <a href=\"http:\/\/www.workingfamilies.org\" target=\"_blank\">Working Families Party<\/a> \u2014 and an obscure leftist professor named <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zephyrteachout.com\" target=\"_blank\">Zephyr Teachout<\/a>, who\u2019s challenging him in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=10366\">Democratic primary<\/a> &#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He wouldn&#8217;t have had to worry about this except he totally pissed off much of the state with his so-called SAFE Act.\u00a0 The media won&#8217;t acknowledge it, but up until that point he was doing ok.\u00a0 After that it was all down hill.<\/p>\n<p>This also brings up what utter crap <a href=\"https:\/\/www.siena.edu\/centers-institutes\/siena-research-institute\/political-polls\/\" target=\"_blank\">Siena polls<\/a> are.\u00a0 If Cuomo really <a href=\"http:\/\/www.capitalnewyork.com\/article\/albany\/2014\/06\/8547213\/poll-cuomo-wide-lead\" target=\"_blank\">had such good numbers<\/a> then why can&#8217;t he motivate the legislature and why is he caving to the WFP?\u00a0 I cannot be the only person who has noticed this.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ssb_list_wrapper\"><li class=\"fb2\" style=\"width:135px\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/like.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gunpoliticsny.com%2F%3Fp%3D10381&amp;layout=button_count&amp;action=like&amp;show_faces=false&amp;share=true&amp;width=135&amp;height=21&amp;appId=307091639398582\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none;
