{"id":10199,"date":"2014-05-15T13:13:31","date_gmt":"2014-05-15T17:13:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=10199"},"modified":"2014-05-15T13:13:31","modified_gmt":"2014-05-15T17:13:31","slug":"team-astorino-making-waves","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=10199","title":{"rendered":"Team Astorino making waves"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.robastorino.com\" target=\"_blank\">Rob Astorino<\/a> made a good choice in picking <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/SheriffMoss\" target=\"_blank\">Chris Moss<\/a>. \u00a0 He isn&#8217;t afraid to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nystateofpolitics.com\/2014\/05\/moss-pledges-safe-act-repeal\/\" target=\"_blank\">speak his mind<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;&#8230; In his speech to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nygop.org\" target=\"_blank\">GOP<\/a> delegates here in Westchester County, Moss pledged to push for a repeal of the SAFE Act, a 2013 gun control law that is deeply opposed by firearms owners and the base of the Republican Party in New York &#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Even better, Team Astorino seems to be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsday.com\/long-island\/politics\/spin-cycle-1.812042\/republican-ad-hits-cuomo-outbursts-1.8030986\" target=\"_blank\">distancing themselves<\/a> from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=10023\">party-hacks and RINOs<\/a> who want to go along with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.governor.ny.gov\" target=\"_blank\">Gov.
