SAFE failure shows need for more gun control

A few weeks back I pointed out that shootings are up in Rochester under the SAFE Act.

Democrat candidate for Monroe County Executive Sandra Frankel thinks more gun control is needed:

“The Democratic candidate for Monroe County executive on Tuesday released a plan to address violence, including proposals to set up an ongoing gun buyback program and a joint task force with the city … Other proposals in Frankel’s plan include … Requiring gun locks with all firearms sold, transferred or manufactured within the county. Gun dealers already must include a locking device with all firearms sales, but Frankel said she wants to encourage similar precautions with private transfers …”

It’s good she chose to bring the issue up now.  It gives me plenty of time to make up postcards against her for the general election.

  1. Why is it so difficult for you, Admin, to visualize gun totting, underground, blackmarket entrepreneurs putting gun safety locks on their firearms? Really! 🙂

  2. In Nassau County, they are at least rational in almost advising that u carry 1 gun loaded to / from the range (so far). I was recently reminded by a retired NYPD ESU guy that for decades, locked box guns have been stolen from NYC licenses going in or out of the ranges in NYC. This is how totally fucking insane the NYC Bolsheviks are – that they believe it is less a problem if their precious criminals steal a gun (that they might shoot a cop with!!) than it would be for a licensee to be enabled to prevent that from happeneing. That is INSANITY!
